Henderson William Brand, chef to the British royal family, concocted a special chicken soup to nourish the health of King George IV. That soup became the famous Essence of Chicken health supplement, which remains our signature product until these days.
Essence of Chicken has been manufactured in Thailand since 1974 when the first factory opened in Nonthaburi. New factories at Laem Chabang Industrial Estate and Pinthong Industrial Estate in Chonburi were built later to expend production capacity and support the rapid growth of demand for products in the market.
BRAND’S became part of the Suntory Group, which invested heavily in manufacturing technology and brought with it 100-year history of beverage, food, and health product innovation, successfully bringing them to market. The company currently operates three manufacturing facilities in Chonburi; one located in Laemchabang Industrial Estate, one in Pinthong Industrial Estate II, and another one called B1835, which produces BRAND’S bottle caps using advanced technology.
Cerebos Pacific Limited and its subsidiaries started operations under the name “BRAND’S SUNTORY”.
On March 1, 2022, “BRAND’S Suntory” was officially changed to “Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand)”, fully representing its role as part of the “Global Suntory Empire”
On July 1, 2025, the new Business Unit, Suntory Beverage & Food Health Enrichment, was established, with Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) serving as the mothership. As a strategic hub, Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) unites and strengthens six markets across East and Southeast Asia, leveraging shared capabilities and a diverse portfolio to accelerate growth in the Health Enrichment and Beverage categories.
